October 3, 2005 - Following the announcement of its maiden results on 5 September and its admission to AIM on 7 April earlier this year, Leadcom Integrated Solutions (Leadcom) is pleased to advise that it has just won three new contracts in Africa with a total value in excess of $10m.
Two of these contracts were awarded in countries in which Leadcom has on-going operations, and the third is a new strategic country penetration. For all three contracts Leadcom is supplying turnkey civil infrastructure solutions, (equipment and services), including the planning, design, supply and implementation of sites for three well-known cellular operators.
Leadcom made its first entry into EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) in 2000, since when it has rapidly expanded its operations throughout the region. Leadcom's operations are currently spread over 20 countries in Europe and Africa (via 8 subsidiaries). In H1/2005 Leadcom’s EMEA business unit alone generated $18m revenues (up 253% YoY), establishing, together with the company's extensive operations in the Americas, almost 80% of the H1/05 $46.8m turnover.
